Indy's Back!

Or: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Held Breaths.

RAIDERS is one of the best movies ever made by anybody ever. But I've made my feelings for the sequels very clear. I used to like CRUSADE, but I've seen it recently. Hoo boy, does it not hold up.

Ten or fifteen years ago, I'd be expecting this to be on par with, say... ROBOCOP 3, or CONAN THE DESTROYER.

But on the other hand, I gave up on James Bond a long time ago, and we now live in the age of CASINO ROYALE.

I'm cautiously excited. I know I'll see this opening night. I also know I'll be praying to the Hollywood Gods: "Please don't suck... please don't suck..."

crusade was not too bad. raiders is still the best action movie ever made. i do have a small soft spot for temple of doom.

the new title is intersting. no friggin clue what its about. we do marion ravenwood is in it. i am totaly geeked up about this movie. at least lucas didnt write it and direct it or we would have another phantom menace on our hands. Speilberg has matured and he is doing this movie for the fans. im pretty confident in speilberg, i think he can outdo temple and crusade.

Totally agree. I think Spielberg's still knocking them out of the park. The guy just keeps going in new directions, challenging himself and getting better.

I just read an interview with Kathleen Kennedy where she said the mine cart chase in Temple was originally in Raiders. No idea where it would have come up...

You think you're praying hard. I named my first-born son Indy!!! All his friends know he was named after a 'great adventurer’ so imagine what will happen to his street cred if this is a lemon! Pray harder Mike.

Just make sure the only part of DOOM his friends ever see is the bridge fight, and you'll both be fine.
