According to this article in Variety, he's gonna write and direct a horror Western.
I think Marshall's a genius and one of the strongest original voices in horror today -- and weirdly unsung, considering all of the attention on Roth and Zombie. Despite the inherent coolness of Marshall doing a horror Western, it's not that big of a deal. There are several set up around town, and probably more on the way.
But check out this quote:
"This is 'Unforgiven' by way of H.P. Lovecraft, with that grim, gritty setting and a horror element nobody has seen before," Marshall said.
FUCK is that cool. I'm sold.
