According to Nikki Finke, John McTiernan has been sentenced to four months in prison.
And here's the Variety article.
And the Reporter.
I'm pleased to see they mentioned RUN in the last paragraph of both articles.
I remain ever the optimist, but I think the imprisonment of the director might have an adverse affect on RUN.

thats fucked up dude. at least its only 4 months not 4 years. Hopefully next year RUN will finaly go into production.
Could be worse. The other day I met a director who shot a Wesley Snipes movie. They were out in the middle of nowhere in Africa, and U.S. agents show up to extradite Wesley for tax evasion. They hauled him off the set in handcuffs.
THAT is a fucked up shoot!
That is uncool but chances are this will blow over relatively easily. Sounds like there are more people involved in this whole thing that it may just become water under the bridge pretty quickly. Otherwise, too many people will be dragged in the undercurrent. I don't think the rest of America really cares so I doubt ticket sales will be affected any.
I'm not worried in the slightest about the affect on the box office. I mean, c'mon... Victor Salva's served time for pederasty, and Jeepers Creepers 2 still opened to $18. You're right, no one cares.
Here's hoping McTiernan doesn't shank anybody while he's in the joint, and gets time off for good behavior.
